Subscription failed due to insufficient funds

In this page we will detail the cases when a recurring subscription fails due to insufficient funds:

 

 

Recurring subscription purchased with credit card

If a user with an active recurring subscription paid with a credit card for a broadcasting package, channel group, or premium channel and has insufficient funds in their account come the billing due date, then the payment will not be completed. If the user has enough money in their credit card account, then the TikiLIVE subscription with renew on their billing date.

Even if a subscription has been successfully completed previous months and the user has no money on their credit card, the subscription will be canceled on TikiLIVE starting with the following day.

As a TikiLIVE user, you have the possibility to update your credit card details from the back end of your account if this information needs to be changed for a successful payment before the billing date.

Important: In case the user creates a new subscription on TikiLIVE, the recurring failed subscription will be canceled and the user will have only one active subscription.

 

 

Recurring subscription purchased with PayPal

If a user with an active recurring subscription paid with PayPal for a package, channel group, or premium channel and has insufficient funds in their PayPal account come the billing  due date, then the payment will not be completed. PayPal will make 3 re-bill attempts during the next 10 days including that current day to try and complete the subscription payment. The subscription will still be active on TikiLIVE during these 10 days.

If the user has money in their account during these 10 days, the payment will be processed successfully and the recurring subscription will remain active. If the payment is not processed during this period, the subscription is then canceled in TikiLIVE and PayPal.

As a TikiLIVE user, you have the possibility to update your PayPal details from the back end of your account if this information needs to be changed for a successful payment before the billing date.
